What Key 3.6

What Key is an application designed for detecting the musical key of a song in real time. The app utilizes the pitch detection algorithm found in Pitch to Note, accurately identifying the notes being played and matching them to major, minor, blues, bebop (jazz), and other scales across all keys. It then selects the scale and key that best corresponds to the detected notes.

Available as a universal app compatible with iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad devices, What Key offers convenience and flexibility across different Apple platforms.

For optimal performance, What Key is recommended for use with music containing minimal percussion and tuned to A4=440 Hz.
